Yachtique ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through yachtique.co, how we use it and the choices you have.

Information you give us

When you send an enquiry, we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, email, phone or WhatsApp number, preferred date, number of guests, the yacht and services you're interested in, and any message you write. If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone, email or Instagram, we receive the information you share there.

Information collected automatically

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website, for example which pages are viewed, how long visits last, the type of device and browser, and the approximate location (city or country) the visit comes from. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to do this. This information helps us improve the site and does not tell us who you are.

Our hosting provider, Netlify, also records basic technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and performance.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. We use analytics cookies set by Google Analytics. We do not use advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google's browser add-on. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect how the site works.

How we use your information

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare charter and concierge options, arrange and manage your booking, keep in touch about it, and improve our website and services. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

To arrange your booking we share the necessary details with the yacht owner or charter operator, the captain and crew, and any partner you ask us to involve, such as a villa, transport, security or catering provider. We also use service providers that process information on our behalf: Netlify (website hosting and form submissions), Google (Google Analytics, and Google Workspace tools where we keep enquiry records) and Meta (WhatsApp and Instagram messages). These providers handle data under their own privacy terms.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and booking details for as long as needed to provide our services and meet legal or accounting obligations, then delete them. Analytics data is kept according to our Google Analytics retention settings.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing yachtiquemiami@gmail.com. If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, you also have the right to object to or restrict certain processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information online.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
