Booking Terms
Last updated: October 2026
These terms explain how booking a yacht charter or concierge service through Yachtique works. Please read them before confirming a booking. If anything is unclear, ask us before you pay.
Our role
Yachtique is a yacht charter broker and concierge. The yachts we offer are owned and operated by independent, licensed charter operators, who provide the vessel, captain and crew. When you book, your charter is carried out by that operator under their charter agreement, which you may be asked to sign before departure. If these terms and the operator's charter agreement differ, the operator's agreement applies to the charter itself.
Quotes and prices
Prices on our website are starting rates and can change with the date, duration, departure point and availability. Your written quote shows the full price, including what is included and any taxes, fees, gratuity or extras. A yacht is only reserved for you once your booking is confirmed in writing and the deposit has been received.
Deposits and payment
A deposit is required to confirm a booking. The deposit amount, the date the balance is due and the accepted payment methods are stated in your booking confirmation. If the balance is not paid by the due date, the booking may be cancelled under the cancellation terms below.
Cancellations and changes by you
The refund you receive if you cancel depends on how far in advance you cancel and on the operator's cancellation policy. These terms are stated in your booking confirmation before you pay. Requests to change the date, time or yacht are subject to availability and may change the price. Please send cancellations and change requests in writing by email or WhatsApp.
Weather and safety
The captain is responsible for the safety of the vessel and everyone on board and has the final decision on whether a charter departs, its route, swimming stops and whether it returns early. If the captain or operator cancels before departure because of unsafe weather or sea conditions, we will offer you another date or a refund as set out in your booking confirmation. Light rain or clouds alone are not usually a reason to cancel.
Guests and conduct
The number of guests cannot exceed the yacht's stated maximum, and everyone on board counts, including children. Guests must follow the instructions of the captain and crew at all times. Alcohol may only be consumed by guests aged 21 or older. Illegal drugs, weapons and dangerous behavior are not allowed, and the captain may end a charter early, without refund, if guests put safety at risk or break the law. The person who makes the booking is responsible for their group, including any damage caused to the yacht beyond normal use.
Timing
Please arrive at the marina at least 15 minutes before departure. Charter time starts at the booked departure time, so late arrival may shorten your charter. Extending a charter on the day depends on the yacht's availability and is charged at the operator's rate.
Concierge services
Villas, transport, security, catering and other services we arrange are provided by independent partners under their own terms, which we share with you when you book.
